Finding Venus

$350.00Price

The shades of blue -I adore this palette- that go from a glowing radiant Peruvian blue Opal to Amazonite with its veins full of light and Russian almost teal Amazonite to old Nepalese glass beads create an amazing effect in French is called dégradé, that fading, that increasing and decreasing colors intensity that makes the eyes travel along; all in Sterling, a small sculpture made with sand cast and tufa cast elements representing Venus emerging from the water with the sun waiting to bathe her.

Love, passion, the beauty and glow.

Yes, I cast every form myself, play with torches and molten metal altering the form of what it was a bundle of silver coins or even vintage and old silver spoons and forks. And, yes again, it is so much fun, it is so much energy flowing when metals change, the discovery, finding what happened inside the stone or the reddish "sand"...

Finding Venus, our inner Venus, our Goddess side.

The pictures that show the piece resting on the bust show its real dimensions, how bold, long on the chest, how it would look on you since it is a real human size mannequin.
