Fragments- Sterling, ancient glass. 9 inches
Fragments is bold, its focal element curved and with textures and its 3D form holds an ancient Roman glass fragment, a reminder of the value of the past and time. A gorgeous green ancient Hebron bead, made with the sands and salts of the Dead Sea more than 400 years ago -I have a thing for Hebron beads, I find them particularly amazing, especially when thinking about how they were made and how the makers are no more. We can find more gold, more diamonds, but ancient beads will not be made ever again, and the ones that exist are the Only ones in the panet. Amazing when we think of that. A solid Sterling spiral with three mobile rings follows the ancient Hebron adding a kinetic purpose for the ones that love to play with jewelry and use it as an anxiety relief. From there, more ancient Roman glass, which, like all ancient artifacts and relics, are just a few of those in the world and No More. A "hashtag" form -grid, ehem- continues from there to be joined by two more ancient Roman Glass fragments/beads that end in a flat calsp eye that connects with the focal, where the hook is integrated to give continuum to the piece.
One of a kind, the pictures show its bold size, you can see it on my wrist, on a common ruler, aside from a quarter coin, and... on a diet Coke can. wink. It can't be reduced.
It measures 9 inches, but it fits a smaller wrist due to the bold-sized beads.
