With an aluminum and copper core, Modern artifacts' focal element is a solid piece in polymers with pigments on its textured surface. Modernist, a mix of avant garde and industrial, its Bold copper frame has articulated segments joined with nickel silver bars.
One of a kind, statement and unusual with an organic feel into its not organic making, even when bold is not heavy due to the flexible weight polymers have -which I love-. I could work in a ceramic stoneware piece of this kind, but it would lack of the durability this piece has, and stone would make it extremely heavy. 
It measures around the neck 21 inches approx.
