One is not just a One of a Kind but also a small sculpture in which the balance has been broken. The imperfections make it more "human", almost unsettling. (I always remember Mary's friend, horrified by asymmetry and how curious is to me and my eternal tendency to break rules, especially forms and dimensions. )
The stone, a semi-polished rough Moonstone that still keeps the dark spots has a strange beauty that fits with the surrealistic general design. While the base is bold and solid, the wings are lighter to prevent injuries. I always prefer to repair a piece that can even be replaced. 
Aside, hanging from a thin handcrafted chain, two fluorite cubes add a touch of fun and movement to this piece already complex.
