I love contrasts, especially this palette—ocean blues, subtle rubies... how they play and embrace each other, creating a vibrant whole.
Set in solid Sterling, the curved clasp works to hide a bit where it closes giving continuity and holding aside two blue Kyanite paddles. On the side a sand cast form with textures joins two square faceted Blue Opal beads; -the perforations were enlarged to allow thicker wire to hold them and make the piece strong and long lasting- and at the side, a mobile squared fine silver slider to play with. A large raw Kyanite spike acts as visual focal point, inviting the eyes to the next link, a beautiful Rhodonite with dark veins and merging colors. A small blue Kyanite set in an unusual way on the next link finishes the piece with a flat clasp eye.
 
Playful and bold, the pictures show its size on my wrist, on a regular ruler, aside a quarter coin and on a Diet Coke can. wink. I ended drinking it during the photo session, ehem.
 
It measures 8 1/2 inches and could be reduced by removing one of the Opal faceted cube beads.
