With stone cast thick solid sterling and a dangling chain with a delicate light weight dome, this pendant focal has a rough blue Kyanite trapped into a rustic claw setting of sorts backed with a sterling plate on the back to add a solid stand. 
To wear as is in chain or to use as focal element for a bolder composition, this unisex look with a masculine edge could be a nice gift for the most sober of our people. 
The picture at the end shows how the cast stone is carved where molten metal will give life to a new form. The top of this pendant had been made this way, shaped, sanded and hammered to soften edges.
