I love containers, boxes, secret passages, hidden treasures... 
When I got this hand crafed bone box with its brass inlay that made me remember alchemy forms I wasn't sure which elements would go with it nor how to keep the box closed in a safe, comfortable way to be a pendant... How to set it? How do I keep it closed? and as I love challenges, the sweat and work of the imagination, eventually found the How and here it is, a box that became a focal element and is at the same time 100% functional.
With purple syntetic velvet inside, this box has a lock similar to some vintage jewelry boxes and now a chain and a lobster clasp like the ones to clasp necklaces and bracelets locks that in site allowing us to open and close and keep safe whatever we have inside at the same time.
Set in copper, bold African camel bone, African glass, and India's brass vintage beads add a mix of mild oranges and tangerines to this rustic but super interesting focal and finish with a fancy clip handcrafted copper clasp.
One of a kind and exotic, unusual, functional, we can carry our pills and even some change in a secret box just there, on our neck.
It measures total around the neck, approx. 19 inches. The focal element measures 126mm x 93mm.; 4.90 inches by 3.69 inches.
