This mixed media piece has the modernist design of an Avant Garde with tribal touches and the ancient feel just artifacts can offer.
The focal construction holds an old Asian carved stone in a copper bold claw setting and a copper body while to the top, mocking Copal ancient beads add a rustic feel. Cultures had been mocking valuable beads since the beginning of trade, from chevron to venetian, wound or eye beads, coral and even precious metals, so while experimenting with polymers decided to mock my own ancient beads, in this case, Copal amber. 
One of a kind, statement, modernist ancient, this piece is quite unique anyway the stone bold carving makes it not heavy, it can be "felt".
It measures around the neck 18 1/2 inches approx.
